Hello! My name is Shana Joy and I am the owner of Joy Bookkeeping LLC. After spending 15 years working in government administration where I assisted local conservation districts to operate legally, efficiently, and effectively, I decided to strike out on my own to spend more time doing what I am really passionate about - helping others be successful. The experience and knowledge that I gained in public service I am now applying to help businesses and nonprofits improve their financial management to save time and money, increase profit and reduce tax liability.

I am a certified Intuit QuickBooks ProAdvisor and an experienced facilitator and advisor to special purpose districts. I was awarded by the Washington State Auditor’s Office in 2019 for a strong commitment to accountability of public funds. I have served as a board officer and president of a national non-profit organization. I believe my diverse experience and deep knowledge base enable me to provide a unique blend of expertise and advisory insights.

Born and raised in the Inland Northwest, I enjoy all types of outdoor recreation and especially gardening, fishing, and birding. My home office is near Athol, Idaho where my family and I also spend time managing forest and pastureland while attempting to tire out our two German Shorthaired Pointers.
